About Axion

What we are — and what we are not
We are an independent financing advisory. We help Malaysian SMEs understand their options, prepare applications, and connect to appropriate banks and schemes. Our founders are former bankers with practical experience inside Malaysian SME and commercial banking.
We are not a bank, a licensed financial institution, or a regulated investment adviser. We do not take deposits, we do not lend, and we do not provide regulated financial advice as defined under Malaysian financial services legislation. Any financing you receive ultimately comes from a licensed bank or financier of their own underwriting.
Nature of our content
Articles, calculators, scheme overviews, and guides on this site are for general educational purposes. Lending criteria, scheme parameters, and bank appetite change frequently — often without notice. Nothing on this site is a guarantee that you will qualify for any specific facility, nor is it a substitute for a banker or licensed adviser reviewing your specific case.
Numerical examples in calculators and case studies are illustrative. Your actual terms will depend on the lender’s assessment at the time of your application.
Engagement model
Initial consultations are provided at no charge to help you decide whether we’re the right fit. Where we take on a case for hands-on advisory or application support, fees and scope are agreed in writing before we begin work. We do not charge hidden referral fees from banks — any introducer or success arrangement will be disclosed to you.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information about your business. You will ultimately sign any bank application, facility letter, or guarantee in your own name, and those obligations are binding on you regardless of any advisory involvement from us. Fraudulent documentation or misrepresentation, if it occurs, is entirely the responsibility of the applicant.
Limitation of liability
We provide advisory services in good faith based on the information you give us and the best understanding we have of the market at the time. We do not guarantee any specific outcome with any specific bank. To the maximum extent permitted under Malaysian law, our aggregate liability in connection with any engagement is limited to the fees you have paid us for that engagement.
Third-party references
References to banks, schemes (such as CGC, SJPP, and others), and government programmes are for informational purposes only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent for any named institution unless we state so explicitly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms or our services is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
